Based vector autoregressive model for analysing stationary time series, paper explores long-term research costs financial performance ten largest companies operating this field. study’s results showed that spending positively affect such indicators as earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation amortisation, interest tax, net income, investment. obtained can be used to substantiate economic effectiveness developing when forming policies support them.
